Why is this so important?
In order to know what we truely want, we need to know who we truely are? It may seem like an obvious question, but many of us, when genuinely asked this, are unsure of the answer.
There seems to often be a cloud, or a knee jerk reaction based on societal beliefs or sub conscious family patterning.
What makes you tick, what gets your juices flowing and your spine tingling. As irrelevant as these things may seem, they hold great insights.
All too often, what we are striving for, what we believe will make us happy, is often off course.
As the coaching process unfolds, you will organically start to discover things about yourself that may supprise you, hidden strengths, virtues and even weaknesses (which are often our super powers).

Working With Your Inate Strengths
We all have innate strengths and weaknesses. And sometimes we can focus a little too much on our weaknesses, thus robbing us of the self empowerment required to overcome obstacles or achieve desired goals. Good examples of this are when you hear people say 'no matter how much I do, I just don't seem to be gaining traction'. Or, 'I know what I want but there's something stopping me'.
In positive psychology, we bring forth your strengths and use them as a pillar, we tap into what makes you tick, what brings you joy and essentially get to the essence of what it is you are wanting to move away from, and where it is you want to go.
Knowing these elements of yourself are very powerful tools to use in crafting out an action plan to move you towards the goal, behaviour or outcome you desire. Coaching is a dance between client & coach, they co create together and sometimes you never know where a session will lead you, its nuanced, ever changing and can be life changing.
